This lecture will review over common knee injuries, prevention, and the biomechanics of landing (and how to land safely to prevent knee injuries). Coaches will be able to apply injury prevention exercises to their gymnasts and prevent future knee injuries.
Attendees will learn all about back pain and prevention. This lecture will focus on common back injuries in gymnastics, how to prevent back injuries, how to progress back to gymnastics from a back injury, the biomechanics of a back handspring, and injury prevention exercises.
