The Possibility Project is a program designed to help athletes discover the power of their own possibility both in and out of the gym. This system helps athletes understand how to take responsibility for their own choices, develop the confidence they need to succeed while teaching them about how valuable they are as individuals. The Possibility Project consists of eleven steps that can be taught over time or in one afternoon – you choose! You will also walk away knowing the four Possibility Statements, “I am, I can, I have, I will.”, which can be used by anyone.
The Possibility Project isn’t limited to young athletes either. It can be used for staff development and training as well. Confidence isn’t easy for everyone, but everyone can feel more confident once they understand that it’s not always about the outcome. Success and confidence don’t have to go hand in hand, but they certainly can complement one another.
Come learn coaching strategies to help your athletes be better, stronger people, which allow them to become better athletes.
Gymnastics works like math: learn basics, add them together, and then just multiply! This simple description has helped my athletes understand the importance of conditioning, good shapes and basic skills. As coaches, we understand why having a good mastery of basic skills helps athletes acquire skills; however, helping kids understand that can be difficult. Come learn how making basics fun and conditioning a “get to” (never a “have to”) can be the first step in building confident, consistent athletes! From group games to step by step breakdowns of drills and skills, come learn how to make the hard part fun again!
