Keeping classes safe, fun, and successful for all of your students should be the goal of every instructor. There are many factors to consider when it comes to managing the class behavior including the learning readiness of the students, the equipment available, the curriculum provided, rotation schedules, activity stations, and other activities and classes in the facility that might influence or distract the students. In this talk we will review how to keep your students active and engaged to achieve their goals while managing challenges when they arise.
We only get one chance to make a great 1st impression. And through our marketing or a phone call, the expectations we create must be experienced when they arrive. In this lecture we will discuss how to develop rapport and relationships with our clients that result in long term retention.
Based on the USA Gymnastics Kinder Accreditation for Teachers (KAT) Workbook, this presentation reviews what matters most that every preschool and recreational instructor needs to know.
