Region 1 Saturday Women Coaching
Presenter(s): Jill Preston
Session Summary

We all know the feeling of a gymnast that can hit all of her beam routines at practice or always sticks her dismounts and when meet day comes- it all falls apart.  In this session, we will go over some fun games, workout plans and drills that help add the meet day pressure at practice, but in a fun and encouraging way!  Hopefully after attending this session, you will walk away with some great lesson plans that you can implement right away into your program.

Women’s Xcel Program Update
Region 1 Saturday Women
Presenter(s): Gigi Iavarone Jill Preston
Session Summary

This session is designed to help the Women’s Program community understand all the rule changes that were approved at the 2025 annual committee meetings. You’ll hear directly from members of the Administrative, Technical, and Xcel Program committees as they walk through the key updates — including changes to the Rules and Policies, the Xcel Program Code of Points, and the Operating Code. These updates will take effect for the upcoming 2025-2026 competition season, so this is a great chance to get clear on what’s new.
