The 11 Unbreakable, Unshakable, Unbreachable, Everlasting Laws of Recreational Coaching
Region 6 Saturday Recreational
Presenter(s): Steve Greeley
Session Summary

Watch their preschool or recreational students. Why are they having so much fun yet look so accomplished even though they only attend one hour per week? (Remember, your kids’ performances are YOUR coaching report card.) There are certain unbreakable, unbreachable laws that the greatest coaches follow that set them apart from the status quo. Laws like:

  • Form must be built into the learning of the skill, not tacked on at the end.
  • Any teacher can pick out mistakes. They real educator focuses on what causes them.
  • If a child can get you mad, they’ve proven they’re smarter than you.
  • Ego is the Enemy.

These are principles that can’t be broken. They’re laws that, when taught to new teachers, launch them light-years ahead in their path to becoming a valuable instructor They’re laws that the best educators have internalized and live by.

Mapping Out 12 Months of “The Customer Experience”
Region 6 Saturday Business
Presenter(s): Steve Greeley
Session Summary

The Full Customer Journey. Often, businesses work to market to prospects, they sign them up, then they focus on getting the next customer. Rarely do we focus on “The Journey”… from the moment a customer first hears our business name, to their inquiry, registration, participation, purchases, sibling enrollments, birthday parties… all the way up until they give notice that they’re moving on. Businesses that pay attention to the steps of this journey have more than ‘customers’, they create relationships that endure and multiply. Here’s a wildly visual ‘tour’ of how to create “The Customer Journey” from the moment of enrollment through each week in your care.
